(STO’s first food drive)
The covid 19 pandemic had a drastic impact on individuals and families globally in the year 2020, and Manitobans were not left out of this experience. Job losses and unemployment made many people to be without food. STO Global started her maiden food drive tagged ‘Be a Blessing to a Family’, aimed at providing food to Manitobans who lacked food. This event took place from the 5th of Oct-the 7th of Nov, 2020.
During this period, non-perishable food items totaling 975 pounds were received from donors and delivered to the Winnipeg Food bank, to assist with the over-whelming demand for food by indigent Manitobans
