LOVE

On the maiden edition of The Platform, our dear host, Bunmi Oduntan, read out a number of definitions of love, but the most striking was the very last one where love is viewed from ‘the verb perspective’. From that angle, she let it be understood that love is what you do; the actions that back up the feeling or the professing. Citing the example of God’s ‘giving’, she went on to drive home the fact that love is an action that must be felt by the other party, regardless of color, race or religion.

Speaking about unrequited love, she encouraged listeners and viewers alike to not be weary of doing good even when, as it is with the human nature, the heart gets discouraged. Love isn’t selfish, doesn’t hurt, never dies, and it trusts God always.

Having received such an uplifting charge, it’s been no wonder that we have looked forward to subsequent editions of ‘The Platform’.
