PRAISE EXPLOSION 2022 (IN-PERSON EDITION)

The in-person edition of Praise Explosion 2022 started off with instrumentals after which the mass choir came up and rendered a medley of beautiful worship hymns and songs. Pastor Olufemi Oshinowo came up to bless us with an opening prayer anchored on the book of Psalm 67, after which the mass choir further led us into a session of praise to God. Sylvia came up afterwards to give a warm welcome to everyone present, encouraging us to sing from our hearts in praise to God, after which she invited the amazing Lindsay and her band who proceeded to further lead us into the place of worship.

The hosts for this edition of Praise Explosion were Ade and Yinka, who came up on stage beautifully attired. They wasted no time in welcoming Mr. Gbolahan Oduntan, the convener of the event, who gave a brief exhortation and welcome address which the hosts returned and welcomed Deborah Lawani, and energetic praise and worship leader. ‘Next Step’ came up next to present an electrifying dance piece.

Minstrel Tosin Alao led us further into the presence of God in worship, followed shortly by Rev. Sunday Olukoju who came up to give a charge, after which there was a heart-warming spoken word presentation. Bunmi Praise followed with a rousing worship session.

Bishop Mike Efezino came up and preached a beautiful sermon on the power of praise. Immanuel Fellowship Drama Group presented a drama piece that highlighted the saving power of Jesus. An intercultural group, led by Nicolette Kiige came up and taught the audience new songs. A short while later, Bisola Crown proved to us that worship could never be enough even as she led us through another round of worship songs. The mass choir came up to lead us into yet another session of worship after which Bunmi Praise led us through a round of African praise songs, bringing the evening to wonderful end.
